How to use

Mount a compatible XF/XC lens and set the aperture ring if available. Use the top-plate shutter speed and exposure compensation dials together with the Film Simulation dial to select exposure and color profile before powering on, or adjust settings via the touchscreen and rear controls once the camera is on. For stills, choose AF-S for single-shot subjects or AF-C with Wide/Tracking AF for moving subjects; touch the rear LCD to select a subject to track. For video, select the desired resolution and frame rate in the menu (for example 6.2K/30p or 4K/60p), enable F-Log2 when wider dynamic range is required, and monitor exposure using the EVF or LCD.

Usage recommendations

Use native ISO 125 for scenes where maximum dynamic range and lower noise are required; switch to higher ISO settings only as needed in low light.
