How to use

Fill the kettle with water up to but not above the MAX mark inside the body. Place the kettle on its base and switch it on using the lever under the handle; an indicator light will show the heater is active. The kettle will switch off automatically when the water reaches boiling. To stop heating before boiling, lift the kettle from the base — the switch will return to its original position and heating will stop. Open the lid by gently pushing the knob/button backwards to release the internal tab; close the lid until it clicks into place. If necessary, remove the spout filter and rinse it under running water before replacing it.

Usage recommendations

Clean the interior periodically with a water and vinegar solution to remove limescale. Wipe the exterior and the power base with a damp cloth and mild detergent; avoid immersing the kettle or the base in water. Do not fill above the MAX mark, and ensure there is sufficient water before switching on to prevent activation of the dry-boil safety cutoff.
