Description

The Amewi AMXROCK RCX8P (Profi RTR) in blue is a 1:8 scale electric off-road crawler designed for outdoor terrain and technical rock crawling. Built on a robust 5 mm metal chassis, the model features portal axles, aluminium braces, metal driveshafts and fully protected oil-filled shock absorbers with dust seals. Powered by a 650 brushed motor (23T), the vehicle includes a damped steering system, sender-lockable differentials (front and rear) and a 2-speed transmission. This version is a new development that introduces several novel systems.

Advantages

The vehicle combines a heavy-duty metal frame and metal drivetrain components for improved durability and torque transfer. Portal axles and oil-filled, dust-protected shocks enhance ground clearance and suspension performance on rough surfaces. Lockable differentials and a 2-speed gearbox give adjustable traction and speed control, while the damped steering system improves handling precision during slow-speed technical maneuvers.

Suitable for

  • Rock crawling and technical off-road trails
  • Outdoor rough-terrain recreational use
  • RC hobbyists seeking a 1:8 scale crawler with metal components

How to use

Charge a compatible battery pack and install it according to the vehicle manual, connect the receiver and test controls before first use. Operate the Amewi AMXROCK RCX8P with a suitable transmitter; start with lower throttle and practice steering and differential locking on flat ground before attempting technical climbs. After initial checks, drive on appropriate off-road terrain, using the 2-speed gearbox and lockable differentials to match speed and traction to conditions.

Usage recommendations

Regularly inspect and clean the oil-filled shock absorbers, drivetrain and dust seals after off-road use. Use batteries and chargers recommended by the manufacturer and avoid deep water immersion to preserve electronics and bearings.
