Robot vacuum Makita DRC300Z

The Makita DRC300Z is an 18V X2 LXT® brushless cordless smart robotic HEPA filter vacuum designed for automatic cleaning of large hard-floor areas in commercial and large residential spaces. It combines Makita’s 18V LXT® battery platform compatibility, brushless motor efficiency, and LiDAR-based navigation to map and clean multiple rooms while offering removable washable components and a large debris collection box for easy maintenance.

Advantages

The DRC300Z uses a brushless motor for extended run time and longer tool life and accepts one 18V LXT® battery with the option to add a second battery for extended operation. It maps and saves up to five rooms using LiDAR and a front camera, and detects obstacles with ultrasonic sensors, a bumper sensor and a 2D LiDAR sensor. The unit supports smartphone connectivity via a dedicated app, offers two navigation modes and two cleaning modes, and includes a HEPA filtration system to capture fine dust. Cleaning components are removable and washable, and the debris box has a 3.1-quart (.79 gallon) capacity. Dual LED battery indicators and Star Protection Computer Controls™ help monitor battery status and protect against overloading, over-discharging and overheating.

How to use

Install one 18V LXT® battery (install a second for longer run time if needed) and charge batteries before first use. Use the dedicated smartphone app to set up room mapping and save up to five rooms, or select Free Mode for immediate cleaning without mapping. Choose the preferred navigation mode and cleaning mode depending on debris type: use Main Brush Only for large debris or Main Brush Plus Vacuum for mixed debris and fine particles. Empty the debris box after use and wash removable brushes and filters according to the maintenance instructions.
