The Roborock RockNeo Q105 is a 2WD robotic lawn mower designed for medium-sized lawns up to 500 m². It combines RTK positioning with VSLAM stereo vision to build AI-powered maps, avoid obstacles and manage multiple mowing zones. The mower offers a 22 cm cutting width, three blades and an adjustable cutting height from 2 to 6 cm. It includes a 4 Ah battery delivering up to 100 minutes of mowing per charge and requires about 95 minutes to recharge. The device is rated IPX6 for water resistance and supports features such as floating cutting deck, rear-wheel drive and optional edge-cutting and anti-theft modules.
Roborock RockNeo Q105 provides precise navigation through RTK and stereo VSLAM, enabling accurate mapping and reliable obstacle avoidance. The 22 cm cutting width with three blades offers uniform cutting, while the adjustable height (2–6 cm) allows adaptation to different grass lengths. Long runtime per charge and relatively short recharge time increase operational continuity, and IPX6 water resistance supports use in wet conditions. Optional modules like edge cutting and anti-theft expand functionality for specific needs.
This mower may not be suitable for very large properties significantly exceeding 500 m², where a higher-capacity commercial mower would be more efficient. It also may not suit users who require integrated edge-cutting out of the box, since the edge-cutting module is sold separately.
Install and charge the mower according to the manufacturer instructions before first use. Configure RTK/VSLAM setup and create mowing zones using the Roborock app or onboard interface, and install optional modules (for example edge-cutting) if required. Place the mower on the lawn, set the desired cutting height (2–6 cm), select mowing schedule or manual start, and allow the mower to map the area and perform cutting cycles. Monitor initial runs to confirm obstacle avoidance and zone coverage.
For reliable operation, perform an initial mapping run, remove or mark small obstacles higher than 4 cm, keep charging contacts clean, and schedule regular maintenance. Use the app to set no-go zones and multi-zone schedules to optimise mowing coverage for lawns up to 500 m².
